Pete Post

Pete Post served in the USMC from 1966 thru 1974 attaining the rank of Captain.  His service history includes Company Commander, Golf, 2nd Bn, 26th Marines; Company Commander, 8th Marines, Camp Geiger; Infantry Training Range, and Guantanamo Bay Cuba.  He has Vietnam service operating primarily in Northern I Corps, including the seventy-seven-day siege at Khe Sanh.  He earned the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnamese Service Medal with 4 stars, Vietnamese Campaign Medal, Presidential Unit Citation, Combat Action Ribbon, and two Bronze Star Medals with Combat V.

He has been married to his wife Irena since 1967 and has two children and two grandchildren, all living in Texas.  He is retired and is also serving as President of the 3rd Marine Division Association, Inc.

He has been a member of the Marine Corps League since 2013, and has held the position(s) of Judge Advocate.
